The snapshot for Vault Eight was recorded on November 26th, 2024, capturing staker eligibility at that point. The claim window opened on December 3rd, 2024, and will remain active for seven days, ensuring participants have a short but fair window to act.
Rewards will be distributed shortly after the claim window closes, continuing the accelerated vault cycle that Saga introduced in previous rounds. Eligibility and Loyalty Levels
Vault Eight maintains Saga’s structured approach to rewarding consistency and participation. Staking across multiple vaults strengthens a participant’s Loyalty Level, which directly impacts the rewards they receive.
Here’s how Loyalty Levels are structured:
Loyalty Level 4: Rewards stakers who were loyal across three consecutive vaults with a 4x multiplier for Vault 5 stakes, 2x for Vault 6, and 1x for Vaults 7 and 8.
Loyalty Level 3: Stakers with loyalty for two consecutive vaults receive a 2x multiplier for Vault 6 stakes and 1x for Vaults 7 and 8.
Loyalty Level 2: Participants with loyalty for one vault earn a 1x multiplier for Vaults 7 and 8.
Loyalty Level 1: New stakers or those who increased their stake for Vault 8 receive rewards based only on their Vault 8 stake.
Loyalty Level 0: Participants who missed staking for Vault 8 receive no rewards but can rebuild loyalty starting with the next vault.
Accident Forgiveness
Missed a vault? Saga’s Accident Forgiveness mechanism offers a chance to restore loyalty. By staking 100% of the previous airdrop, participants can reclaim their Loyalty Level without penalties or resets. However, this feature is limited to one missed vault within the last four cycles.
$SAGA Token Rewards
Vault Eight’s rewards include a distribution of 2 million $SAGA tokens, proportional to each participant’s Loyalty Score. This ensures that consistent stakers are recognized for their commitment to securing the Saga network.
