MANTRA has confirmed that Onchain Omies NFT holders will receive an allocation of $OM tokens as part of the upcoming GenDrop. This decision follows speculation and reports indicating that Omies would be included in either the airdrop or a separate rewards program.
Initially, Onchain Omies were not part of the original $OM GenDrop allocation, as the collection did not exist at the time. However, MANTRA has now decided to redirect funds recovered from Sybil attackers toward Omies holders. This move aligns with MANTRA’s broader efforts to ensure fair token distribution and reward genuine community engagement.

The exact allocation amount has not yet been disclosed, but MANTRA has made it clear that while Omies will receive a portion, it will not match the full amount recovered from Sybil attackers. Instead, the allocation will be meaningful enough to acknowledge Omies’ contribution to the community.
