A New Destination for the Cosmos Ecosystem
Cosmoverse, the flagship event for the Cosmos ecosystem, is set to return in 2025 with its most ambitious edition yet—this time in Split, Croatia. Scheduled for October 30 to November 1 at the seaside Le Méridien Lav resort, the event reflects Cosmos’ broader strategic pivot: expanding into new regions, reaching new developer audiences, and strengthening its positioning as the foundational layer for a multichain future.

Split is a gateway to the Balkans, a region with growing Web3 momentum and a history of producing strong developer talent. The area is already hosting a wave of Ethereum ecosystem events throughout 2025, including ETH Belgrade, ETH Sofia, and EthCC in nearby Cannes. By placing Cosmoverse at the heart of this developer migration, Cosmoverse aims to position itself to onboard builders from EVM ecosystems into the app chain world.
What's New This Year
According to their announcement, Cosmoverse 2025 will continue to feature its signature industry tracks across DeFi, AI, ZK, NFTs, modular blockchains, and more. However, this year brings a stronger emphasis on academic and enterprise integration, including curated sessions designed to bring together institutions, researchers, and protocol builders. The Hackmos hackathon, co-hosted with DoraHacks, will once again offer developers a hands-on experience with the Cosmos stack, including upcoming tools like IBC Eureka.
