Nillion has announced the launch of its NIL Airdrop, allocating 75 million NIL tokens—equivalent to 7.5% of the total supply—to early community members, developers, and verifiers. The initiative aims to reward those who have contributed to the network’s development while further decentralizing governance and participation ahead of the Alpha Mainnet launch.
Eligible participants can register until February 3rd at 5 PM UTC, with tokens set to be distributed upon mainnet activation.
Who is Eligible?
The NIL Airdrop is structured around three key categories:
Community Contributors
Participants who have been actively engaged in Nillion’s ecosystem may qualify, including those who held Discord rolessuch as OGs, Blind Warriors, Marshals, and Nill Pilled members. Additionally, individuals who minted Blind Ceremony POAPs are eligible.
Developers
Technical contributors who have engaged with Nillion’s GitHub, participated in hackathons, utilized the Nillion SDK, or produced technical content may be eligible for NIL tokens.
Verifier Program Participants
Verifiers who ran a node for at least one week before the program closed qualify for a portion of the distribution.
Stacked Rewards and Pre-Staking Opportunities
Beyond the base eligibility categories, additional NIL tokens are available through stacked rewards. Participants who contributed to the Nill Pill Program, helped strengthen the testnet, or played other active roles within the community may receive increased allocations.
Nillion is also offering an early rewards incentive for those who choose to pre-stake their tokens through the Eligibility Checker. Participants who delegate their NIL tokens to a validator before the claim deadline can boost their rewards while contributing to the network’s decentralization. To register for the NIL Airdrop, eligible participants must complete the process before February 3rd at 5 PM UTC.
Steps to Claim:
Visit the Nillion Eligibility Checker at https://claims.nillion.com.
Connect your wallet—this should be the same wallet associated with past contributions.
Accept the terms required for participation.
Verify additional eligibility criteria by linking Discord, GitHub, or validator participation if applicable.
Select a validator for pre-staking (Stake with Stakecito!).
Confirm your registration to finalize the claim.
Wait for the Alpha Mainnet launch—tokens will be distributed once it goes live.
