As the Movement Network gears up for its highly anticipated Network Genesis and Token Generation Event (TGE), the team has introduced the MoveDrop program. This initiative aims to reward early users and contributors with $MOVE tokens, the native currency of the Movement ecosystem. With up to 1 billion $MOVE tokens allocated for this purpose, the MoveDrop is set to incentivize and celebrate the community’s engagement with the platform.
What Is MoveDrop?
MoveDrop is the Movement Network’s distribution program for $MOVE tokens, which will allocate up to 10% of the token’s maximum supply. Designed to reward early adopters, builders, and participants, the program spans multiple initiatives that reflect the diverse ways users have contributed to the ecosystem.
Eligible participants will have the option to claim their rewards in two ways:
Ethereum Mainnet: Available at TGE.
Movement Network Mainnet: Participants who wait for the Movement Network Mainnet launch can claim 1.25x the tokens they would have received on Ethereum.

A Breakdown of MoveDrop Categories
Road to Parthenon
This category is the largest in the MoveDrop program, focused on rewarding users who interacted with the Movement Testnet. Two main groups are eligible:
Transaction Completion: Users who completed at least two transactions on two apps in the Porto or Suzuka Testnet qualify, with rewards capped at 300 transactions.
Quest Completion: Participants who completed quests on the Road to Parthenon campaign will receive rewards proportional to their quest completions within specific guilds.
Anti-Sybil Protection: Wallets conducting testnet transactions without claiming from an official faucet are ineligible.
Battle of Olympus
A flagship hackathon from May to September 2024, the Battle of Olympus showcased the Movement Network's developer community. $MOVE allocations will be distributed to the 10 winners and 53 runners-up of the hackathon, celebrating their contributions to the platform’s growth.
Gmovers
The Movement Network has built a strong presence on social media, particularly through X (formerly Twitter), with the hashtag #gmove symbolizing community engagement. Participants who used “gmove” in their tweets are eligible for MoveDrop, with larger allocations going to those who participated in the #gmovechallenge.
Movement Testnet Builders
Teams building on the Movement Network Testnet are another key focus of the MoveDrop. Allocations are determined based on the teams’ contributions and readiness for the Movement Mainnet.
How to Claim $MOVE Tokens
Eligible users can register and claim their allocations through the official MoveDrop website. Upon $MOVE’s TGE, participants can view their eligibility and decide how to claim their tokens.
For those seeking maximum rewards, waiting for the Movement Network’s Mainnet launch will provide a 1.25x multiplier on their $MOVE allocations. This decision allows participants to choose between immediate access to their tokens or enhanced rewards at a later date.
